Mac Donald Audio is a full service business messaging and music provider. Our core business is on-hold messaging services, and we also offer formatted music services through Music Choice, plus offering wam or web audio messaging. We also offer in-store messaging or point of purchase messaging services. Established in 1994 by Andrew Mac Donald and based in Cadillac, Michigan, Mac Donald Audio continues to expand its customer base through interconnect partnership agreements, customer referrals, web based referrals, and prospect selling. Mac Donald Audio has two state of the art sound-proofed digital recording studios. Through special telephone interface equipment we also have the capability to record voice over the phone, reduce the white noise, and boost the volume.

Andrew Mac Donald President – President / Owner
After graduating from Michigan State in 1980 with a Marketing degree, Andrew worked in the radio industry from 1980 until 1994. In 1994 he started Mac Donald Audio Incorporated. With twenty-six years in the marketing industry, Andrew brings significant experience in writing, audio production, and business telephone system configurations. Andrew is involved in many non-profit efforts including as President of the Junction of Hope, the nation’s only non-profit 501-c3 restaurant, created and dedicated to hiring special needs employees. He also serves on the board of directors for Cadillac Community Television, and is Founder of Lakefront Days Cadillac’s summer community festival held each August.
Shane McIntosh – Vice President Operations
Shane is a long time ‘audio guy’ starting out at the age of 16 with a part time radio job at WATT in Cadillac. Shane has held numerous positions in radio and television including program director of Lakes FM and later Mix 96 Cadillac/Traverse City. He has also worked in television as Director of Programming and Promotion at Fox 33 Cadillac, and Creative Services Director at WHTV in Lansing. Shane’s writing ability, powerful voice, and delivery provide the tools to be extremely effective in every aspect of business messaging and music.
Alison Scholten Client Relations
Alison started her career in the retail business and later banking. Alison spent ten years at Sandy’s Jewelry in downtown Cadillac. When the business was sold she was hired as a bank teller at NBD which was later sold to Citizen’s Bank. She was promoted from bank teller to customer service representative, and worked at the bank for a total of ten years. She joined Mac Donald Audio in 2003 and handles the business office responsibilities, as well as Client Relations. As director of Client Relations, Alison acts as a facilitator to get new messaging and fresh music approved and loaded onto the system. She is thorough, very well organized, and effective. Alison’s upbeat attitude and pleasant demeanor are a real plus, and greatly assists in her working with clients and prospects. Alison is a long time community volunteer for First Baptist Church and is a mentor for Cadillac Community Schools.
